What a wanderful Potluck on Belle Isle!
There was no better way to bring people together than with food, stories, and children games.
We gathered around the beautifully restored Dante Alighieri statue, our symbol of culture, language, and connection.
Guests brought their favorite Italian dishes to share, children from Magifiaba and Magiscuola played joyfully with their teachers, adding laughter and energy to the day and reminding us how important it is to pass traditions on to the next generation.
For about 17 years, we have built this beautiful tradition. Every September, in the shade of the magnificent statue of Dante, we celebrate what unites us: the Italian roots that raised us, and the pride of carrying them with us today, with the same love as yesterday. It is a moment of remembrance, of joy, of togetherness.
