Daniela D’Amico Henderson, DAS of Michigan vice-president was awarded with the prestigious title of Knight of the Italian Republic on June 2, 2025—Festa della Repubblica. Receiving this honor on a day officially proclaimed “Italian National Day in Michigan” by Governor Whitmer. It was celebrated with a special ceremony at The War Memorial in Grosse Pointe, organized by the Italian Consulate in Detroit, which makes the recognition even more meaningful. Daniela’s dedication to promoting Italian culture and language in our community is truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder of her.
