#dantemichiganSalve! My name is Jessica. My family is from the Abruzzo region, where I spent many summers as a young girl before moving to Florence for four years. I have two bachelor’s degrees, one in Italian and the other in International Studies. After a short break, I then returned to university to pursue a master’s degree in Italian language and literature. I began teaching Italian to adults before entering academia in 2010. I have been teaching Italian at Michigan State University since 2016. When I’m not teaching, I spend time with my four children or enjoy the outdoors!
