LEVEL A2 - Elementary Italian – Survival A2.1 / A2.2 / A2.3 / A2.4
~~ Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of immediate relevance (e.g., basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe aspects of his/her background, immediate environment, and issues in areas of immediate need.
Course objectives:
In this course, students will review the grammar and content learned in Level A1. They will gain a better and deeper understanding of the Italian language's grammar, syntax, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions. The course will enable them to master the linguistic competence to support opinions and discuss customs and traditions, Italian lifestyle, and made-in-Italy products.
Communicative goals:
Say your job and describe your job; look for a part-time/full-time job; describe the Italian lifestyle; describe Italian regions and arrange a holiday in Italy; buy typical Italian products.
Grammatical structures:
Nouns, adjectives, regular and irregular verbs, articles, prepositions, and pronouns.
Italian culture and customs:
The Italian lifestyle, the job situation in Italy, Italian products, Italian cities, and traditions.
