Don Lorenzo Milani is among the protagonists of the twentieth century in Italy. This year marks the centenary of his birth, and it is, therefore, an opportunity to revisit his work and thoughts. We have with us in Michigan people who knew him well and members of his family. Gabriele Boccaccini (a historian of religions) and Nicola Terrenato (as a member of the Milani family) will be with us for a fascinating conversation that will range from the contribution of don Lorenzo as a priest, pedagogue, and conscientious objector to family anecdotes.
Don Lorenzo Milani è tra i protagonisti del Novecento in Italia. Quest’anno ricorre il centenario della sua nascita ed è quindi l’occasione di rivisitare la sua figura. Abbiamo con noi in Michigan persone che lo hanno conosciuto e membri della sua famiglia. Prof. Gabriele Boccaccini (come storico delle religioni) e Prof. Nicola Terrenato (come membro della famiglia Milani) saranno con noi per un’affascinante conversazione che spazierà dal contributo di don Lorenzo come sacerdote, pedagogo, e obiettore di coscienza a inediti aneddoti familiari.
