In Vino Veritas is an engaging cultural journey into one of Italy’s most fascinating wine regions. In this fun and welcoming course, participants explore the history, geography, mythology, and culinary traditions of Campania through the lens of its native wines.
Across five sessions (8 total hours), students discover how volcanic soil, ancient Greek heritage, and vibrant regional food culture shape the distinctive character of four wines: Greco di Tufo, Falanghina, Aglianico, and Lacrima Christi del Vesuvio, with a wine tasting on April 9
Along the way, the class blends storytelling, culture, and practical wine knowledge in a relaxed, social atmosphere that is suitable for both beginners and enthusiasts.
The final session features a guided tasting of four selected Campanian wines, paired with appetizers.
Open to adults and young adults interested in Italian culture. Participants under 21 may attend all classes; however, wine will not be served to them during the tasting session.
