V Week of Italian Cuisine in the World. Virtual Event

The 5th edition of an increasingly consolidated event, in coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, focuses on the Italian food and wine heritage, widespread wealth in the territories, and small villages of the Belpaese. This 5th Week of Italian Cuisine in the World will be held all over the world from the 23rd to 29th of November. An important message to be conveyed during the event will be on the value of the post Covid-19 diet: the Mediterranean Diet also seen as a defense tool against the possibility of getting sick. Guest Speaker Anna Lanzani Anna, is an Italian food scholar, with a strong background in humanities and over 15 years of experience in international food companies. Anna is an active member of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina and a food writer. She has lived, worked and studied in the US, UK, France, Japan, China, Australia, and Argentina. A passionate entrepreneur and consultant, Anna teaches History of Italian Gastronomy at the University of Buenos Aires CUI, and contributes to international conferences.This Virtual Event if FREE to the Public. Organized by the Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan in collaboration with the Dante Alighieri Society of Massachusetts. Reservation is required by November 21, 2020.
