Young Chefs | Cooking Class

DAS is pleased to announce a new cooking class  for Young Chefs
An introduction to Italian and American staples  – Ages: 9-12 – In Italian and English 

Where: Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan – 4050 West Maple Rd., Ste #250, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301
When: From 4:30 pm to 6 pm, on Fridays | Dates: October 26 – November 16 – December 14 – January TBD

The class covers the four essential bases of western style cuisines, providing insights on the origins and use of some super famous Italian ingredient. During each class students will be invited to think about:
What’s the origin of the ingredients? – How much do they cost? – Who produces them? – Which cuisines use them? – How do they get to our table?
Each class will feature an Italian classic to be compared with an American classic that uses similar ingredients.
