On Thursday, September 20, at the Italian American Cultural Society in Clinton Township, presented by FADM in collaboration with Verdi Opera Theatre of Michigan and the Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan, was held a presentation-concert in tribute to the lives and works Gabriele D’Annunzio and Paolo Tosti, two extraordinary Italian artists from Abruzzo who left their indelible mark on the world of literature, poetry, song-writing, opera, and much more.
The event free to the public, included a visual presentation By John Zaretti, interspersed with live performances of some of the most beautiful and beloved Paolo Tosti songs, with lyrics by D’annunzio and others, sung by award-winning young artists in the prime of their powers, and more.
